| After a nice Val's Day celebration on Saturday and Sunday morning, I spent about 3 1/2 hours at the local pond, near where I _thought_ I hear a large fish crash last time out. I threw out about a gallon of maize in two areas, and also used about two tbsps of calf manna in PVA for each hookbait. Baited with chili garbonzos, TF 12mm boilies, and Opal flavored maize. No runs. I know I should be prebaiting or going earlier to allow the maize time to pull them in, but I and fishing when I can. |

| got a greenie today, also this a 2inch texas shiner!, it fell to a sz 14 copper john on my 2wt. |
